We covered Katie Kitamura's _Audition_ for our second book club meeting, with participants experiencing the narrative in a range of print, digital screen, and audiobook. The themes that emerged in our lively conversation included mother-son relationships, familial expectations, and racialized and gendered responsibilities. It's definitely a work to revisit at different stages in life, for the potential shifts in how we relate to the characters over time.
