In partnership with the Library Shop SD, BRC is hosting author Curtis Chin to discuss his memoir: Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant (2023).

About The Event
Curtis will be in conversation with local BIPOC-serving, licensed therapist Camille Kelly of SolPath Wellness. They will discuss Curtis's immigrant family upbringing in the restaurant business in 1980s Detroit, touching on themes of racial, sexual, and class differences. Registration is encouraged, and books are available for purchase here. Proceeds from book sales benefit the San Diego Public Library. Signing will follow the discussion.
